She obtained a Ph.D. in cross-cultural medicine from Union Graduate School in 1975, an M.A. from New York University of Education in 1968, and her B.A. from LeMoyne College in 1967. Dr. Connelly has served as a Commissioner of the Accreditation Commission for Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine. She conducts workshops nationwide and lectures annually in Germany and Italy. Dr. Connelly is the author of Traditional Acupuncture: The Law of the Five Elements (1975), All Sickness is Homesickness (1986), and with Katharine Hancock Porter, Alive and Awake (2003).
